The Monarch Series
– Apple TV Plus has released the first trailer for Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, a 10-episode series based on the Monsterverse franchise, featuring Godzilla, King Kong, and King Ghidorah.
– The series will be released globally on November 17th, with one episode per week until January 12th.
– The trailer gives a glimpse of Bill Randa’s character (played by John Goodman) and various giant creatures, hinting at the destruction they have caused.
– The show follows two siblings exploring their family’s connection to Monarch, the organization that has been involved with Godzilla and other titans.
– The siblings’ journey leads them to Army officer Lee Shaw (played by both Kurt Russell and his real-life son Wyatt Russell) and his involvement with Monarch since the 1950s.
– The series also stars Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski.
– The series aims to explore the question of who the true monsters are in a world trying to coexist with giant titans.
